We're Back!

The Pennsylvania Southern Gospel Music Website is excited to be back online and sporting a brand new design!  Well, technically we were never gone but we have increased our content quite a lot.  This website has been a mainstay for SG Business Group since its inception nearly ten years ago.  Over the years we have scaled back this website because some of our other websites took off and became quite time consuming.

However, technology has gotten better and we have become a little more efficient in our design and management of websites so we decided to bring back this website and once again begin to build it up.  We are excited about the prospects that this website holds.

Randy Simpson Loves Singing Gospel Music

E-mail Print PDF

Randy SimpsonBorn on May 11, 1969, Randy Simpson was raised in a Christian home.  Randy's father, Terry, played the piano with The Gabriels, a Gospel quartet well known in the state of Pennsylvania for their unique style and harmonies.

As a young boy, Randy learned to love and enjoy Gospel music.  Unfortunately, he was tempted as a young teenager to try other styles of music.  As a result of that, Randy performed in heavy metal rock bands in bars and clubs.  In May of 1985, just short of his 16th birthday, Randy realized his need for salvation.  He also realized that it was his heart's desire to sing Gospel music.

Throughout the past 18 years, Randy has been a part of a number of Gospel music ministries.  From 1985 to 1986, he was a member of The King's Messengers; in 1986 he was a part of The Valley Four.  In 1987 Randy had a solo ministry for a couple of years before joining The Brothers in 1988 where he would stay for 11 years.  Randy's biggest decision came in April of 1999 when he decided to follow the Lord's direction into a full-time solo ministry.  Randy has been traveling all of the United States proclaiming the Gospel in song for over 15 years.

Nashville, TN, February 13, 2010 -- The Mystery Men are proud to announce the addition of their newest member, Chad Riley.  Chad hails from the keystone state of Pennsylvania and is a multiple year alumnus of the Stamps Baxter School of Music (Nashville, TN).  Chad comes highly recommended by Ben Speer and Alison Durham Speer and has readily cemented his position as the newest member of The Mystery Men.  With a blue-eyed soul reminiscent to the early days of southern gospel and a vocal strength not readily witnessed in recent years, he ministers with an anointing and zeal that will truly touch one’s spirit.  Chad’s heritage comes from a mother and father who evangelized and pastored through his youth and continue to this day. From the age of five, his talents were apparent and have led him to his new ministry with The Mystery Men.  He has already proven himself a favorite of Mystery Men fans.
